Genggong

This instrument is included in this type of wind instrument made ​​of palm leaf midrib. Etymologically the word genggong met by the word geng (high voice) called genggong lanang and gongs (low voice) called wadon, so the music genggong always played in pairs. Genggong orchestra music can be played with other instruments such as petuq, flute, rincik and others. Genggong for now very rarely played in public events, but more frequently encountered and is played by the society in rural areas in between their routine activities like most of the community who work as farmers.
